Invoicer macOS app interface

Situation

Freelancers and small business owners often struggle with complex, subscription-based accounting software. I identified a need for a simple, privacy-focused invoicing tool that runs natively on macOS without requiring a cloud account.

Task

The goal was to design and build a native macOS application that allowed users to create professional PDFs in seconds. The constraints were to keep it account-free, privacy-first, and beautifully integrated with the macOS design language—all as a solo founder.

Action

I handled the entire product lifecycle: from UI/UX design in Figma to full stack development using Swift and SwiftUI. I implemented core features like drag-and-drop customization, automatic calculations, and local data persistence. I also managed the App Store submission and marketing assets.

Result

Invoicer launched successfully on the Mac App Store, gaining traction for its simplicity and design quality. It empowers users to manage their billing effortlessly while keeping their data private. It serves as a testament to my ability to execute end-to-end product development.
